The Adoption & Fostering podcast launched in September 2016, and was originally the brainchild of Al Coates MBE. I was asked to join Al as Co-Host and since then it has gone from strength to strength, as we interview relevant names and faces in Adoption, Fostering, Special Guardianship, Kinship Care, not to mention those who have experienced these as children and young people growing up.
Al and I approach these using the idea that we should "Podcast like no-one is listening" - I mean clearly people do listen, with over 100,000 downloads in 2020 - well, let's be honest it was a tough year with little to do!
So here it is, a new conversation or interview is released each week, and its available on Podbean, Apple Podcasts, Spotify and all good Podcast platforms - damn you can even ask Alexa to play it for you if you are that way inclined.
